Evid Based Complement Alternat Med. 2022 Feb 1;2022:3919866. doi: 10.1155/2022/3919866. eCollection 2022.ABSTRACTAcupuncture has been applied as a complementary therapy in stroke survivors worldwide and approved to be beneficial to stroke recovery. Patient-Reported Anxiety/Depression After Endovascular Thrombectomy: A post-hoc Analysis of Direct-MT Trial
ConclusionsPatient-reported anxiety/depression may suggest that there is a benefit to administering intravenous alteplase before EVT. It may also indicate that it is better to provide IV alteplase before EVT, rather than EVT alone according to patient-reported anxiety/depression. Future research should consider not only the motor function impairments but also the patient-reported mental problems as measures of treatment efficacy in patients with stroke (DIRECT-MT ClinicalTrials.gov number, NCT03469206).

A Network Meta-Analysis of the Clinical Efficacy and Safety of Commonly Used Chinese Patent Medicines in the Auxiliary Treatment of Poststroke Depression
CONCLUSION: The mechanisms of seven CPMs in the adjuvant treatment of PSD have advantages. In terms of safety and efficacy, the CPMs had better clinical adjuvant treatment performance. Although this study concluded that the Jieyu Anshen capsule is the preferred drug for clinical treatment, a clear conclusion still needs to be verified in a high-quality randomized controlled study. In clinical practice, accurate selection and application can be carried out according to the specific characteristics of patients.PMID:35035507 | PMC:PMC8758270 | DOI:10.1155/2022/7265769

Methods and analysis A systematic search will be performed on English databases...
