Health risk factors in Australian Stroke Survivors: A latent class analysis
CONCLUSIONS: We identified two distinct health risk factor groups in our population. SO WHAT?: Future interventions may benefit from targeting the specific needs and requirements of people who have experienced stroke based on their distinct risk group. Burden of cardiovascular disease from 1990 to 2017 in Henan Province, China
CONCLUSIONS: The absolute burden of CVDs in Henan is still high, although age-standardized DALYs declined between 1990 and 2017. Predictors of stroke subtype and severity in patients of a tertiary care hospital, Dehradun
Conclusions: Stroke subtype is significantly associated with higher socioeconomic status and severe stroke. Stroke severity is significantly associated with hemorrhagic stroke. Stroke subtype, sex, dyslipidemia, alcohol intake, and education may act as predictors of stroke severity.

Prevalence of overweight and obesity and associated factors among women of childbearing age in Brazil.
CONCLUSION: The results showed an association between excess weight and sociodemographic factors, both determinants of general and reproductive health history. Implementation of effective public health policies is necessary to prevent unfavorable outcomes related to the health of women of childbearing age with excess weight. Patients with heart rhythm disorder warned against heavy alcohol consumption
(European Society of Cardiology) Fourteen drinks a week is linked with a higher risk of health problems including stroke and embolism in patients with atrial fibrillation, according to research published in EP Europace, a journal of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC). " Our study suggests that atrial fibrillation patients should avoid heavy alcohol consumption to prevent stroke and other complications, " said author Dr. Boyoung Joung of Yonsei University College of Medicine, Seoul, Republic of Korea.
