E-004 Focal intracranial vasculopathy as a manifestation of COVID-19-associated acute ischemic stroke
ConclusionTo our knowledge, our case is the first to illustrate the potential for COVID-19 infection to present as a focal intracranial vasculopathy in an otherwise healthy young-patient, resulting in acute ischemic stroke without an underlying hypercoagulable state. "Fou Rire Prodromique" as the Presentation of a Left Frontal Ischemic Stroke (P02.040)
CONCLUSIONS: Frontal lobe involvement affecting the Broca's area, as we described in our case, has only been described once. Cytochrome P450 Genetic Variants and Their Metabolite Levels Associated with Plaque Stability in Patients with Ischemic Stroke.

A Case of Ischemic Stroke With Congenital Protein C Deficiency and Carotid Web Successfully Treated by Anticoagulant and Carotid Stenting
Conclusion: To our knowledge, this is the first report in which an immediate thrombus formation on the carotid web was observed in a patient with congenital protein C deficiency. In a case of acute ischemic stroke with carotid web, especially when congenital coagulopathy such as protein C deficiency is suspected, careful follow-up with ultrasound imaging should be performed.

Unexpected Arterial Recanalization after Decompressive Hemicraniectomy
We report a 43-year-old patient with malignant embolic ischemic stroke in the right middle cerebral artery (MCA), treated by decompressive hemicraniectomy. Cerebrovascular ultrasound detected a subtotally occluding thrombus in the right internal carotid artery and a partial occlusion of the ipsilateral MCA. After the surgery, complete recanalization of the affected vessels was observed.

Amusia: Unique Presentation of Stroke (P6.261)
CONCLUSIONS:Even though music and speech are similar in principle and execution they are functions of different hemispheres of the brain. Unlike aphasia, anatomical localization of amusia has not been established but it is known that right non dominant hemisphere is concerned with musical ability. Right Hemispheric Acute Ischemic Stroke Secondary To Right Common Carotid Artery Free Floating Thrombus Due To Hypercoagulable State In An Otherwise Healthy 48-Year-Old Woman. (P6.263)
Conclusions: Due to the high association between malignancy and hypercoagulable state, further work up needs to be warranted in the evaluation of a patient with FFT. To our knowledge this is the first case report of symptomatic FFT treated with an oral direct factor-Xa inhibitor. Fetal hydrocephalus and neonatal stroke as the first presentation of protein C deficiency
Severe protein C-deficiency is a rare heritable thrombophilia of the newborn. Infants with biallelic PROC mutations present purpura fulminans and intracranial thromboembolism, while the prenatal onset of mutated heterozygotes remains unclear. We herewith present the first case of fetal ventriculomegaly and neonatal stroke associated with heterozygous PROC mutation. The infant was born to a healthy mother at 38 gestational weeks. The fetal growth had been normal, but the routine ultrasound screening had indicated mild hydrocephalus at 28weeks of gestation.
