Early outcomes of endoscopic endonasal approach pituitary adenomas resection with minimal nasal injury
To report the results of a consecutive series of pituitary adenomas resected through endoscopic endonasal approach (EEA) with minimal nasal injury. Retrospectively review tumor characteristics and surgical outcomes of a consecutive series of EEA pituitary adenomas resection performed mainly by a single author between March 2018 and June 2019. The Effects of Body Mass Index on In-hospital mortality following first ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke events: Does the "obesity paradox" apply?
CONCLUSION: Obese patients are less likely to die during hospitalization following first-time non-subarachnoid hemorrhage and ischemic stroke than non-overweight/non-obese patients. Current Applications of Susceptibility Weighted Images in Pediatric Neurological Diseases
ConclusionIts high susceptibility for blood products, iron depositions, and calcifications makes susceptibility-weighted imaging an important additional sequence for the diagnostic workup of pediatric brain pathologic abnormalities that should be routinely added in our department. Compared with conventional MRI sequences, susceptibility-weighted imaging may show lesions with better detail and higher sensitivity. Familiarity with the pediatric susceptibility-weighted imaging signal variance is essential to prevent misdiagnosis.

Post Stroke Hyperglycemia as a marker of Stroke Severity and Prognosis: A cohort study
ConclusionFrom our study we can conclude that diabetes mellitus as a risk factor in cases of stroke leads to increase complications and worsens the outcome in cases of stroke whether hemorrhagic or ischemic.RecommendationsFrom our study we recommended strict control of diabetes mellitus when present in cases of stroke to avoid bad outcome and to prevent complications in these cases.
