Risk for Myocardial Infarction, Stroke, and Pulmonary Embolism Following COVID-19 Vaccines in Adults Younger Than 75 Years in France
CONCLUSION: In persons aged 18 to 74 years, adenoviral-based vaccines may be associated with increased incidence of MI and PE. No association between mRNA-based vaccines and the cardiovascular events studied was observed.PRIMARY FUNDING SOURCE: None.PMID:35994748 | DOI:10.7326/M22-0988

Epileptic seizures during Non-Ketotic Hyperglycemia (NKH) in French Guiana: A retrospective study
ConclusionSeizures in NKH are symptomatic of an acute brain lesion or vascular epilepsy more than 1 in 2 times. However, isolated NKH can cause seizures with a suggestive brain MRI.

E-114 Rescue suction mechanical thrombectomy of medium-small vessel occlusion in a pediatric patient presented with acute ischemic stroke
ConclusionEndovascular aspiration mechanical thrombectomy of MSVO is feasible in pediatric patients presenting with AIS and associated with good functional outcome. Additionally, when acute ongoing neurological deficit is present and CTA is inconclusive, a digital subtraction angiography is deemed needed to identify MSVO as the yields of CTA diminishes significantly beyond LVO. Further studies are required.Disclosures R. Hart: None. A. Singh: None. C. Manzanero: None. Y. Lodi: None.

O-003 CLEVER: clinical evaluation of WEB 17 device in intracranial aneurysms. safety results for ruptured and unruptured aneurysm at 30 days
ConclusionThese results show good safety profile at 1 month, with low rate of neurological or neurovascular event with permanent deficit and no mortality at 30 days. These data confirm the safety of WEB use in intracranial aneurysm treatment, unruptured as well as ruptured, and are consistent with the results published up to date.Disclosures L. E-176 Endovascular stent retriever thrombectomy of medium and small vessel occlusion of the middle cerebral artery with acute ischemic stroke: a case series
ConclusionsOur case series demonstrated that SRMT in SVO with disabling NIHSS is feasible and safe if performed carefully. All patient achieved TICI 3 perfusion and first pass effect was better observed in trap technique and use of long solitaire STD. Good function outcomes were achieved in all cases irrespective of the types of SRD used and passes required to achieve TICI 3 perfusion. Further studies are required.Disclosures Y. Lodi: None.

E-182 A multicentric experience for the use of flow diverter in the treatment of anterior communicating artery aneurysms
ConclusionFlow diverters appear to be a safe and effective treatment for anterior communicating artery aneurysms, presenting as an alternative strategy in the armamentarium of interventionalist. Mid-term results were favorable, and complication rates were low. Additional studies with longer follow-up time and independent adjudication are warranted to confirm the safety and effectiveness of the technique.Disclosures V. Benalia: None. G. Cortez: None. N. O-042 Incidence of periprocedural stroke with radial access for diagnostic cerebral angiograms
ConclusionIn our experience, transradial access for diagnostic cerebral angiograms was associated with a low but not neglectable incidence of periprocedural strokes when compared to the traditional femoral approach. Patient vascular anatomy should be evaluated prior to selection of vascular access and patients should be made aware of the possibility of a slightly higher possibility of periprocedural stroke with transradial access.Abstract O-042 Table 1 Patient Age Access Vessels catheterized Catheter used Radial Medication Contrast Fluoro Time Platelet Count INR GFR COVID Status Stroke Symptoms NIHSS Imaging performed 1 5...

High lipoprotein(a) levels predict severity of coronary artery disease in patients hospitalized for acute myocardial infarction. Data from the French RICO survey
Lipoprotein(a) (Lp(a)) is an independent risk factor for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD), including myocardial infarction (MI), ischemic stroke and peripheral artery disease, as well as for calcific aortic valve stenosis1-4. Lp(a) contributes to ASCVD risk via multiple mechanisms broadly classified in three categories, proatherogenic, proinflammatory, and potentially antifibrinolytic2. Epidemiological studies, including meta-analyses5,6, and genetic studies, strongly support a causal association between high levels of Lp(a) and increased risk of ASCVD.
