Features of Knee and Multi-joint Osteoarthritis by Sex and Race/Ethnicity: A Preliminary Analysis in the Johnston County Health Study
CONCLUSION: Preliminary findings in the diverse JoCoHS cohort suggest more lower extremity predominant MJOA in men compared to women. Women and Black participants had more KOA features and more severe symptoms. Hispanic participants appear to have higher pain and symptoms scores despite having fewer structural changes. Impact of a Simulation Exercise on Student Perceptions of Poverty and Interprofessional Socialization
CONCLUSION: This interprofessional poverty simulation positively altered student ATP and enhanced interprofessional socialization. CONCLUSION: A dashboard tool facilitating holistic evaluation of APPE readiness was helpful in identifying students who were not ready for APPEs or at risk for substandard performance. Incorporating Interprofessional Education into a Required Introductory Pharmacy and Nursing Didactic Course
CONCLUSION: Including joint IPE sessions in a foundational didactic course was a feasible and successful IPE component. Sessions provided students with experience practicing foundational skills for interprofessional communication and teamwork. Automated Analysis of Preceptor Comments: A Pilot Study Using Sentiment Analysis to Identify Potential Student Issues in Experiential Education
CONCLUSION: This sentiment analysis algorithm was accurate in capturing positive and negative comments corresponding to pharmacy student performance. Given the accuracy of this preliminary validation for flagging preceptor comments, there are numerous implications when considering the use of sentiment analysis in pharmacy education.
