STRA6 promotes thyroid carcinoma progression via activation of the ILK/AKT/mTOR axis in cells and female nude mice
CONCLUSIONS: Our study demonstrates the critical roles of STRA6 contributing to TC progression via the ILK/AKT/mTOR axis, which may provide a novel prognostic marker as well as a promising therapeutic target for aggressive TC.PMID:36592123 | DOI:10.1210/endocr/bqac215

Targeting tumor hypoxia inhibits aggressive phenotype of dedifferentiated thyroid cancer
CONCLUSIONS: Hypoxia score serves as a significant indicator for dedifferentiation status, prognoses and immunotherapeutic response predicted by Tumor Immune Dysfunction and Exclusion in DDTC patients. Targeting hypoxia by ACF is useful to alleviate aggressive phenotype of ATC in pre-clinical model of DDTC.PMID:36190930 | DOI:10.1210/clinem/dgac548

CREB3 Transactivates lncRNA ZFAS1 to Promote Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma Metastasis by Modulating miR-373-3 < em > p < /em > /MMP3 Regulatory Axis
In conclusion, CREB3 activated lncRNA ZFAS1 at the transcriptional level to promote PTC metastasis by modulating miR-373-3p/MMP3.PMID:34249125 | PMC:PMC8238556 | DOI:10.1155/2021/9981683

Histone Deacetylase 4 Controls Extracellular Matrix Production in Orbital Fibroblasts from Graves' Ophthalmopathy Patients
CONCLUSION: Our data indicated for the first time that altered HDAC4 regulation along with H3K9 hypoacetylation might represent a mechanism that contributes to excessive proliferation and extracellular matrix production by orbital fibroblasts in GO. HDAC4 might represent a novel target for GO therapy.PMID:34235979 | DOI:10.1089/thy.2020.0948

DPP4 gene silencing inhibits proliferation and epithelial-mesenchymal transition of papillary thyroid carcinoma cells through suppression of the MAPK pathway
ConclusionCollectively, the present study demonstrated that DPP4 gene silencing inhibits PTC cell proliferation and EMT and promotes cell apoptosis via suppression of the MAPK pathway, thus highlighting a possible regulatory pathway in PTC progression.

The JAK/STAT3 and NF- κB signaling pathways regulate cancer stem cell properties in anaplastic thyroid cancer cells.
Conclusions:</b> These results suggest that JAK/STAT3 and NF-κB signals play important roles in ATC-CSCs. Targeting these signaling pathways may be a promising approach to treat ATC. PMID: 30784360 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
