Antibody titers of individuals vaccinated for COVID-19: A systematic review
J Biosci. 2023;48:32.ABSTRACTAn important preventive measure to mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic is vaccine implementation. In creating vaccines, evoking neutralizing antibody (NAb) production is the main objective. This review determines and compares the NAb titers produced by COVID-19 vaccine recipients based on the vaccine type and the manner of administration. This review includes published articles on studies with healthy participants with a minimum age of 18 years, without previous infections, and those who were given Emergency Use License (EUL) vaccines from WHO. Bias assessment was performed using the Cochrane Risk o...

The wake of the triple epidemic (Tripledemic): does it emphasizes the COVID-19 vaccine as a routine immunization for children? - A cross-sectional study
CONCLUSIONS: The findings may give insight to the policymakers for a strategic plan to include C19V in the routine schedule to combat the pandemic and tripledemic by improving herd immunity.PMID:37667961 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202308_33439

Telogen effluvium and COVID-19: a cross-sectional study
CONCLUSIONS: In our study, the incidence of TE was highly related to COVID-19 infections among both sexes. However, the incidence was greater among the female population. The awareness level toward post-COVID-19 TE was poor among most of the participants in our study.PMID:37667959 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202308_33437

Impact of COVID-19 vaccination on parental and childhood stress levels in Greece
CONCLUSIONS: Parental vaccination against COVID-19 is a significant stress and anxiety predictor for both parents and their offspring. Parental and childhood stress levels were correlated, while the effect of vaccination was independent of the pandemic phase. The campaigns to promote vaccine uptake against COVID-19 should also highlight its potential benefit on the psychological well-being of the family.PMID:37667951 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202308_33427

Assessment of hesitancy to COVID-19 vaccine in patients with rheumatic arthritis
CONCLUSIONS: The COVID-19 vaccination rate among RA patients in China is low due to limited knowledge, misconceptions, and insufficient promotion. Boosting confidence and understanding of the vaccine's effectiveness and safety is crucial to improve vaccination success.PMID:37667922 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202308_33397

Pathways to informed choices: The impact of freedom of choice and two-sided messages on psychological reactance and vaccination intentions among individuals who express concerns
CONCLUSION: These findings indicate the importance of freedom of choice in reducing psychological reactance, which in its turn can lead to an increase of positive message evaluations and vaccination intentions among individuals who express concerns. The opportunities of message sidedness as an efficacious vaccination communication strategy should be further investigated.PMID:37669885 | DOI:10.1016/j.vaccine.2023.08.016
