Soluble urokinase plasminogen activator receptor in one-year prediction of major adverse cardiac events in patients after first myocardial infarction treated with primary percutaneous coronary intervention.
Conclusions: Soluble urokinase plasminogen activator receptor level appears to be an independent useful biomarker for the prediction of major adverse cardiac events early after first myocardial infarction. The biomarker's level seems to have more prognostic than diagnostic power.

Central hemodynamic parameters to predict cardiovascular outcomes and mortality among the elderly: protocol for a systematic review.
CONCLUSIONS: Through this systematic review, we intend to summarize evidence that supports the use of central hemodynamic parameters for central blood pressure to diagnose and perform prognostics on arterial hypertension in elderly patients within clinical practice and predict future cardiovascular events in this population.

Relationship between High Level of Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate and Contrast-Induced Acute Kidney Injury in Patients who Underwent an Emergency Percutaneous Coronary Intervention.

Differences in management and outcomes for men and women with ST-elevation myocardial infarction.

Impact of Residual SYNTAX Score and Its Derived Indexes on Clinical Outcomes after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention: Data from a Large Single Center.
Conclusions: This study indicates that all three indexes (rSS, clinical rSS, and SRI) are able to risk-stratify patients and predict 2-year outcomes after PCI. However, their prognostic capabilities are different.

Comparison of RISK-PCI, GRACE, TIMI risk scores for prediction of major adverse cardiac events in patients with acute coronary syndrome.
CONCLUSIONS: In comparison with the GRACE and TIMI scores, RISK-PCI score showed a non-inferior ability to predict 30-day MACE and death in ACS patients. Moreover, RISK-PCI was the only scoring system that could predict recurrent ischemia requiring TVR.

Comparison of Long-term Outcomes in Patients with Premature Triple-vessel Coronary Disease Undergoing Three Different Treatment Strategies: A Prospective Cohort Study.
CONCLUSIONS: PCI and CABG provided equal long-term benefits for all-cause death and cardiac death for PTVD patients. Patients undergoing MT alone had the worst long-term clinical outcomes.
