The efficacy of Chinese herbal medicine Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with acupuncture to treat sequela of apoplexy: A protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis
Conclusion:
Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with acupuncture seems to be an effective therapy to ameliorate the clinical symptoms of stroke sequelae. In order to further determine the effectiveness and safety of Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with acupuncture in treating stroke sequelae, more multicenter and prospective randomized controlled trials must be carried out.

Chinese Herbal Preparation SaiLuoTong Alleviates Brain Ischemia via Nrf2 Antioxidation Pathway –Dependent Cerebral Microvascular Protection
Stroke is one of the most devastating diseases worldwide. The Chinese herbal preparation SaiLuoTong (SLT) capsule showed outstanding therapeutic effects on stroke and its sequelae. The aim of this study was to further elucidate its therapeutic mechanism. We duplicated a permanent cerebral ischemia model in rats by MCAO and used SLT (33 and 16.5 mg/kg) to intervene. Conclusion: QDBS syndrome is a common phenotypic marker that was hypothesized to predict whether patients with multiple diseases would respond to this targeted therapy. No previous basket trial has assessed the potential efficacy of an herbal intervention for multiple diseases. The unique promise of the trial is its ability to exploit a disease phenotype to discover novel treatments for three diseases for which the root cause is unknown, complex, or multifactorial, and for which scientific understanding is insufficient to provide valid molecular targets.
