Impact of improved stroke green channel process on the delay of intravenous thrombolysis in patients with acute cerebral infarction during the COVID-19 pandemic: An observational study
ConclusionDuring the two periods of the COVID-19 outbreak (SARS-CoV-2 and Omicron), after the improvement of the green channel for intravenous thrombolysis, there might be some delay in in-hospital DIT during the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak, however, the in-hospital delay indicator DNT for intravenous thrombolysis were not affected.

Telestroke for the Treatment of Ischemic Stroke in Western China During the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Multicenter Observational Study
ConclusionsTelemedicine is effective in improving the thrombolysis administration among patients with IS in Western China. Implementation of the telestroke network should be promoted, especially when access to care is affected by public health emergencies, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

Delayed Stroke Treatment during COVID-19 Pandemic in China
Conclusions: COVID-19 pandemic has remarkable impacts on the management of AIS. Both pre- and posthospital delays were prolonged significantly, and proportion of patients arrived within the 4.5-h time window for intravenous thrombolysis treatment was decreased. Neurological involvement of coronavirus disease 2019: a systematic review
ConclusionsNeurological manifestations of COVID-19 are not rare, especially large vessel stroke, Guillain –Barre syndrome, and meningoencephalitis. Moving forward, further studies are needed to clarify the prevalence of the neurological complications of SARS-CoV-2 infection, investigate their biological backgrounds, and test treatment options. Physicians should be cautious not to overlook other neurol ogical diagnoses that can mimic COVID-19 during the pandemic.
