Eagle Syndrome: A Rare Cause of Stroke in a Young Patient
We report the case of a 26-year-old man who presented to the emergency department because he noticed that his right hand had become clumsy. He first noticed this symptom five days before his presentation, but he noticed that his symptom had improved significantly since it began. Vertebral artery thrombosis in a 7-year-old child
We present the case history of a 7-year-old boy who was admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit of a county hospital with symptoms of facial palsy, progrediating ataxia and somnolence. Contrast-enhanced angiographic MR images of the skull revealed acute ischemic lesions and suggested stenosis of the left vertebral artery, then it was confirmed by TOF (time of flight) angiography of vessels of the neck and cervical ultrasound examination. The arterial thrombus causing ischaemia was eliminated by drug treatment and the rehabilitation process could be started. The patient's condition improved considerably following that...

Opalski Syndrome Treated with Intravenous Recombinant Tissue Type Plasminogen Activator —Case Report and Review of Literature
A 65-year-old man with a history of Wallenberg syndrome caused by vertebral artery dissection at 62 years old was admitted to our hospital with nausea, vertigo, right facial dysesthesia, right hemiplegia, crossed sensory disturbance (sensory loss and numbness in the right face and left body below the neck), and right limb ataxia. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) performed 80 minutes after onset revealed no acute ischemic stroke lesions, but magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) demonstrated complete occlusion of the right vertebral artery.

Cervical Posterior Spinal Artery Syndrome Caused By Spontaneous Vertebral Artery Dissection: Two Case Reports and Literature Review
Herein, we described 2 patients with posterior spinal artery syndrome (PSAS) caused by vertebral artery dissection. The patients complained of sudden neck pain or walking instability. Neurological examination revealed sensory loss, muscle weakness, and sensory ataxia. Angiography showed double lumen sign or intimal flap in the vertebral artery. T2-weighted imaging and diffusion-weighted imaging of MRI showed a hyperintense lesion in the dorsal side of the cervical spinal cord at different times after onset.

Intravenous Thrombolysis at 3.5 Hours From Onset of Pediatric Acute Ischemic Stroke
We report the case of a 14-year-old girl who presented with right-sided weakness and ataxia, loss of sensation, and altered mental status. Magnetic resonance imaging with diffusion-weighted imaging showed an acute lesion in the distribution of the left posterior cerebral artery, and magnetic resonance angiogram demonstrated occlusion of the third branch of the left posterior cerebral artery. Multifocal Stroke From Ozone Gas Emboli
Abstract: A 34-year-old man with chronic neck pain was treated with regular cervical paravertebral ozone injections. After his last injection, he experienced a syncopal episode and, upon awakening, was found to have ataxia, aphasia, hemiparesis, and left sixth nerve palsy. Computed tomographic angiography demonstrated intra-arterial gas in the right vertebral artery; multiple posterior circulation infarcts were seen on brain MRI. This case illustrates the potential dangers of paravertebral injections of ozone.
