Anticipatory Postural Adjustments During Gait Initiation in Stroke Patients
Conclusion This systematic review provides an update on GI-APA reorganization following stroke. Stroke patients present atypical GI-APA patterns, longer GI-APA duration and lower GI-APA amplitude compared to healthy people, regardless of which leg is used as the leading or trailing leg. GI is facilitated when the non-paretic leg is used as the trailing leg because the weakness of the paretic leg leads to difficulties in supporting body weight during the upcoming stance phase. The effect of robot-assisted walking in different modalities on cardiorespiratory responses and energy consumption in patients with subacute stroke
DISCUSSION: By decreasing GF and BWS values during robot-assisted walking, adequate cardio-metabolic and energy response in both subacute stroke patients and healthy individuals could be achieved. Efficacy of Robotic-Assisted Gait Training in sub-acute stroke patients: An Italian bi-centre study
Introduction: Over the last years, the introduction of robotic technologies in gait rehabilitation of stroke patients has had a greatest interest. Some studies have been conducted to assess the effects of robot-assisted training compared to gait conventional rehabilitation in sub-acute stroke patients. The main results were obtained in studies that used robotic exoskeletons or treadmill training with partial body weight support and only few papers used end-effector device [1]. To date, there are very few studies that have used gait analysis to show improvements in gait parameters after gait rehabilitation in sub-acute stroke patients [2].

Effects of computer-based therapy versus therapist-mediated therapy in stroke-related aphasia: Pilot non-inferiority study
CONCLUSIONS: The overall pattern of findings suggested computer-based intervention was not inferior to traditional therapist-based intervention for enhancing functional communication deficits in stroke-related aphasia during the acute phase of recovery.
