Identification of acute stroke using quantified brain electrical activity.
CONCLUSIONS: Despite a small population and the use of a classifier without the benefit of training on a stroke population, these data suggest that a rapidly acquired, easy-to-use system to assess brain electrical activity at the time of evaluation of acute stroke could be a valuable adjunct to current clinical practice. Does outcome of neuropsychological treatment in patients with unilateral spatial neglect after stroke affect functional outcome?
CONCLUSIONS: The outcome of the whole rehabilitation resulted affected by the outcome of neuropsychological treatment in patients with USN, being a low score at Barrage test at the beginning of therapy a negative predictor of USN recovery. CLINICAL REHABILITATION IMPACT: Patients with USN after stroke can benefit of a specific training for reducing USN also in terms of functional outcome. Effect of subtypes of neglect on functional outcome in stroke patients
Conclusions Our data confirm the negative prognostic effect of neglect on functional outcome in a large sample. We also show the importance of evaluating and training according to neglect subtype to improve functional independence.

Ctbrain machine learning predicts stroke thrombolysis result
Conclusions This proof-of-concept study shows that machine learning methods applied to acute stroke CT-scans potentially offers automation, and improved performance in SICH prediction following thrombolysis. Larger-scale cohorts, and incorporation of CT perfusion/angiography data, should be tested with such methods.
