ConclusionMediacalcosis is a severe complication since it increases the risk of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in hemodialysis patients, to this end, the individualization of entangled factors involved in its pathophysiology, will slow down or prevent its progression in the future.

Comparison of First-Line Dual Combination Treatments in Hypertension: Real-World Evidence from Multinational Heterogeneous Cohorts.

Effects of danicamtiv, a novel cardiac myosin activator, in heart failure with reduced ejection fraction: experimental data and clinical results from a phase 2a trial
ConclusionsDanicamtiv was well tolerated and improved LV systolic function in patients with HFrEF. A marked improvement in LA volume and function was also observed in patients, consistent with pre ‐clinical findings of direct activation of LA contractility.

Risk of Cardiovascular Conditions in Patients with Chronic Hypoparathyroidism: A Retrospective Cohort Study
ConclusionsThis large retrospective cohort study showed that chronic hypoparathyroidism was associated with increased risk of incident cardiovascular conditions and arrhythmias. Results should be evaluated in light of limitations inherent to claims database analyses. Further studies are warranted to investigate reasons for these risks and to develop strategies for reducing cardiovascular conditions in patients with chronic hypoparathyroidism.

IJERPH, Vol. 19, Pages 16064: Hypocalcemia Is a Common Risk Factor for Osteoporosis in Taiwanese Patients with Cushing & rsquo;s Syndrome
Conclusions: Our study found that lower serum calcium levels were common among patients with CS and osteoporosis. Furthermore, CS patients with HF or stroke had high proportion of hypocalcemia. Therefore, these patients must pay more attention to adequate calcium supplementation and undergo the appropriate osteoporosis drug treatment to reduce the risk of subsequent fracture and disability.
