Do pharm schools take into consideration non-prereq classes?
Hi, This might be a silly question but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere online. Do pharmacy schools bother looking at non-prerequisite courses? A lot of prereq classes were introductory classes for my major and when I first started college, simply put, I didn't know how to study or manage my time efficiently until my junior year (because I'm dumb). Thus, I got subpar marks for those classes (i.e. physics, physio, intro to genetics). Since then, I've taken a few advanced/upper div... Do pharm schools take into consideration non-prereq classes? PaO2 in severe anemia
So Kaplan physio explains that both polycythemia and anemia do not affect PaO2 b/c they only affect the oxygen transported by hemoglobin not the oxygen dissolved in plasma. However, in case of severe anemia, theoretically wouldn't you observe slight increased PaO2? Since the oxygen molecules will be forced to be dissolved in plasma? Considering normal PaO2 is around 95, it may go up a bit like 97-98 mmHg right? (not exceeding 100 mmHg since it will still need to be equilibrated with the... last upper div, P/NP or Withdraw?
hey guys so I think my GPA is sufficient enough to apply this cycle. I signed up for physio this summer but bombed my first exam. def going to end up dropping my GPA (which is borderline already). I know I ****ed up lol but now I have to deal with a W or a P/NP. does it matter which one? how bad would this affect my overall app. I'm a non trad who crammed BCP in 2 years. never had a W, since undergrad 3-4 years ago (had like 2) (Source: Student Doctor Network)

failed step 1...
The title says it all. I am an IMG. When I started my Step 1 prep, I bought FA, BRS physio, subscribed to UW. I took a baseline NBME and got the most dismal score (equivalent to less than 100 in Step 1). I was definitely shocked. I guess I didn't learn anything in med school. So I read FA, read BRS physio, watched Pathoma videos, did 1 pass of UW (untimed in tutor mode per system and annotated my FA). I took an NBME and my score improved (I think it was now a 140) but still failing. So I... failed step 1... (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Do we need physiology lab?
I know some schools require physiology. ATSU for example does in both schools, I am taking the current physio lab and its just way to time consuming. Do you guys suggest I take it or just drop it and refund some of the money back? My physiology course is 3 credits. Thoughts, suggestions? (Source: Student Doctor Network)
