Upper Division Biology Elective P/F, Withdraw, or Gamble?
Hi SDN,
I'm looking for advice on where to proceed with this. I'm currently in my 4th year taking a microbiology lab class as an upper-division biology elective. I've already completed my one year of biology and a separate biology lab in addition to all the other recommended stuff (genetics, physio, biochem) and done very well in all of them. Apply this cycle or wait until next year?
I really want to apply during the 2022-23 cycle but after reading some threads on here, I feel like I’m not as qualified and I’m definitely behind in the application process. One year biology question

Predental To Premed Switch
Hey everyone, so as the title says, I applied this past cycle to dental schools, but have not received any acceptances. Here's some background info:
- I came to the US in 2015 and was born in Iraq.
- 3.50 cGPA, a 3.33 sGPA, and a 20 AA/21TS score on the DAT if it matters.
- Physiology major with a biochemistry minor.
- Initially, I was an undecided engineering major and I was not really a fan, so, I switched to physio.
- My first 2 semesters ended with a GPA of 2.5 and 2.75, respectively...

WAMC + Any other schools I should apply to? (High DAT, Low GPA)
Hey there, I'm finishing up my apps for this cycle and want to know if there are any other schools I should add. My DAT, experience/shadowing, and ECs are all solid. My GPA for undergrad was only okay (3.5 GPA, 3.35 sGPA), but I did a post bac and did worse due to health issues (3.0 GPA), which I explained in my apps.
There are a lot of schools I can't apply to because I haven't taken calculus (no Boston U), anatomy/physio (no AT schools, Las Vegas, NE), or microbiology.
