How to do well in Physio?
What are your suggestions for doing well in Physiology? Any good resources or supplements to use as I am studying or tricks you had while in first year? I know its less about memorizing and I am doing okay but I want to perform better. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Low scores in physiology and pathology, but high scores in pathophysiology?
I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem in their prep for Step 1. Across both Kaplan and USMLE-Rx, I'm finding that I'm only getting about 55-60% of my pathology and physiology questions right, but my pathophysiology section is in the range of 75-80% correct. From reading some threads, it seems that "pathology" focuses more on the histological deficits and physio is just physio. I feel like I must be making some kind of error in my thought process when it comes to... Low scores in physiology and pathology, but high scores in pathophysiology? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

I know this topic has been brought up before...
Here's the deal. My degree is a Bachelor of SCIENCE in Psychology so I have many classes that are of the PSYCxxxx classification, however they were heavily science and neuro/endocrine based (mechanism of neurotransmitter reuptake and hormone function for example was in far greater detail than any of my bio or physio classes). I know AACOMAS allows you sort your own sGPA classes and they will correct if necessary. What should I do in this case because, yup, you guessed, my sGPA sky rockets... Is BRS Physiology (Costanzo) Adequate Physio Coverage for Step 1?
Title says it all. I'm trying to streamline my studying for Step 1, and I'm finding that reviewing physio from Y1 is taking up a lot of my time. I'm very comfortable with the material in the BRS Costanzo textbook, but I also use the Zanki deck - so far I have been ignoring the physio subdecks in Zanki because I don't know if I can afford to invest that much time into the process. Is memorizing BRS enough, or should I bite the bullet and go through the thousands of Zanki physio cards as... Is BRS Physiology (Costanzo) Adequate Physio Coverage for Step 1? Need opinions, IMG 1st year wanting to do USMLE
So i'm an IMG from New Zealand (U.S citizen) now studying medicine in China in english. I already have a degree in Neuroscience and Micro/Immuno and throughout that degree I basically learnt about every organ system (physio/anat), the content very closely matches med school content except less clinical of course. So i'm in my 1st of 6 years and i've basically done all the content up to the start of my 3rd year after talking to some of the older students etc and seeing the material. So my...
