Replacing ACA would hike GA Medicaid costs
Republican Gov. Nathan Deal and GOP leaders in the General Assembly argued they were being fiscally prudent when they declined to expand Georgia ’s Medicaid program under the Affordable Care Act.
But that decision could come back to haunt the Peach State if the Republican Congress passes the American Health Care Act, the replacement for Obamacare introduced into the U.S. House of Representatives this month.

Atlanta moves up three spots on ‘Top 50 Bed Bug Cities’ list
Here ’s a list upon which Atlanta doesn’t want to be so high.
Orkin, a unit of Rollins Inc. (NYSE: ROL), put out its annual “Top 50 Bed Bug Cities” list and the Big Peach ranked No. 16.

Christmas Trees Are Dying From Drought
For 23 years, Curtis Abbott and his family have been growing and selling Christmas trees on their farm in the town of Charlton, Massachusetts. Photos from previous harvests show picture-perfect trees — towering evergreens with sturdy branches dusted with white snow.
But this year, Abbott Tree Farm has shared no photographs.

Get ready, pitches. "Pitch Perfect 3" is set to film in Georgia in 2017, according to an industry source.

Metro Atlanta dentist guilty in $1 million Medicaid fraud case
Metro Atlanta dentist Dr. Oluwatoyin Solarin pleaded guilty to filing false claims totaling nearly $1 million with the Georgia Medicaid program.
