Over 3 years with 3 posters. HES/NEP research involving children's physical activity in relation to their math scores, and we found correlations that led to further research. Further research explored how much of an impact these interventions had on math skills. Final year was related to childhood obesity and the impact of parent's dietary choices.

Difficult Lumbar TFESIs
Even with more than a few years of experience under my belt, with more and more elderly and obese patients I’m finding that even with basic lumbar TFESI the frequency with which I cannot accomplish “plan A”, such as a L5-S1 TFESI using my go to subpedicular approach has risen. Spinal anesthesia for Total Knee arthroplasty
I am practicing in the Midwest. I seem to struggle with trying place a spinal in the large obese patients ( 130 kg ) anyone have any tips or advance. I seem to always hit bone. I tried to feel for spinous process but it difficult on these large patients. (Source: Student Doctor Network)
