Swiss cheese disease: A rare case of juvenile papillomatosis of the breast mimicking carcinoma in a young female
Indian J Pathol Microbiol. 2023 Oct-Dec;66(4):874-876. doi: 10.4103/ijpm.ijpm_597_21.ABSTRACTJuvenile papillomatosis is a rare benign proliferative lesion of breast seen in young females. These patients have been reported to have a strong family history for carcinoma breast. It is rarely diagnosed preoperatively but has distinct histopathological features on postoperative examination. The subsequent treatment and prognosis vary accordingly. Here, we report a case of a 38-year-old female who was operated with a preliminary diagnosis of Mucinous carcinoma of left breast.PMID:38084554 | DOI:10.4103/ijpm.ijpm_597_21 (Source: I...

High-grade HER2-positive mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the breast: a case report and review of the literature
ConclusionsMucoepidermoid carcinoma of the breast is a very rare entity. Despite being most frequently triple negative, the standard evaluation of receptor status is mandatory, as well as strict application of World Health Organization diagnostic criteria for correct patient management. Molecular landscape of ERBB2/HER2 gene amplification among patients with gynecologic malignancies; clinical implications and future directions
CONCLUSION: ERBB2 amplification is frequently encountered among patients with uterine serous carcinoma, and mucinous ovarian carcinoma. In addition, a high incidence was also observed among those with uterine clear cell carcinoma, and uterine carcinosarcoma. For patients with endometrioid endometrial carcinoma, incidence of ERBB2 amplification is low, especially in the absence of TP53 mutations.PMID:38029652 | DOI:10.1016/j.ygyno.2023.11.021 (Source: Gynecologic Oncology)

Clinicopathological profile of breast cancer from Chhattisgarh India: A single-center hospital-based study
CONCLUSION: The clinico-epidemio and histological profile of breast cancer in Chhattisgarh is similar to other parts of India. Scarff Bloom Richardson Grade was predominantly grade 2 in 46.25% (37/80) contrary to Grade III (70%) in other series from India.PMID:38024932 | PMC:PMC10657078 | DOI:10.4103/jfmpc.jfmpc_2315_22 (Source: Primary Care)

Low-Grade Pseudomyxoma Peritonei Behaving as a High-Grade Disease: A Case Series and Literature Review
Curr Oncol. 2023 Nov 18;30(11):9996-10006. doi: 10.3390/curroncol30110726.ABSTRACTPatients with low-grade appendiceal mucinous carcinomas (LAMNs) treated with cytoreductive surgery (CRS) and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) have a favorable prognosis. However, a subgroup of patients presents a clinically aggressive course with disease progression despite receiving treatment. The purpose of this study is to report the experience of clinically aggressive LAMN patients treated by the same team, and to present a review of the literature. The cases of four patients with clinically aggressive LAMNs were reviewed...
