The presence of erionite in North American geologies and the estimated mesothelioma potency by region
CONCLUSION: The model predicted mesothelioma potency of Turkish erionite (4.53) falls in this same range of potencies as erionite found in North America. Although it can vary by region, a reasonable ratio of average mesothelioma potency based on this model is 3,000:500:100:1 comparing North American erionite, crocidolite, amosite, and chrysotile (from most potent to least potent).PMID:38583132 | DOI:10.1080/08958378.2024.2322496 (Source: Inhalation Toxicology)

Prognostic significance of inflammation scores in malignant mesothelioma
CONCLUSIONS: Our study investigated the prognostic value of various inflammation markers in malignant mesothelioma patients and suggests that composite formulas like NLR, PIIV, SIRI, ALI, and HALP that incorporate CBC cells and nutritional parameters like albumin, height, and weight could more consistently and accurately predict malignant mesothelioma prognosis.PMID:38567597 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202403_35741 (Source: Pharmacological Reviews)

218 A case of Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis secondary to combination Ipilimumab and Nivolumab therapy for Pleural Mesothelioma, successfully treated with Ruxolitinib
We present the case of a patient who developed Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN) as the primary feature of a multi-system autoimmune syndrome following combination ipilimumab and nivolumab for mesothelioma, successfully treated with Ruxolitinib. (Source: Lung Cancer)
