Simultaneous Recording of Objective Sleep in Mothers and School-aged Children with Developmental Disabilities: A Pilot Study of Actigraphy and Videosomnography
This study aimed to determine the feasibility of objectively measuring child and mother sleep-wake patterns using actigraphy and videosomnography. This was an observational pilot study. Mothers wore actigraphy watches and video-recorded their child’s sleep for 7 nights. Mo thers also completed a 7-day sleep diary and questionnaires on sleep quality, depressive symptoms, stress, and child sleep problems. Certification as dysplasia unit and its impact on large loop electrosurgical excision (LEEP)
ConclusionCertification as a dysplasia unit and the associated requirements have improved the diagnostic quality for patients with cervical dysplasia undergoing LEEP. This was demonstrated by several treatment indicators such as the number of colposcopies and biopsies and treatment outcomes such as an increased proportion of CIN 2  + excisions and R0 resections.
