Increase in hepatitis (liver inflammation) cases in children under investigation, UKHSA (updated 21st April 2022)
Active case finding investigations have identified further 34 cases since last update, bringing total number of cases to 108, presenting to health services between Jan& 12 Apr 2022. Of these cases, 8 children have received a liver transplant. There is no link to COVID-19 vaccine.
