CONCLUSIONS: Sleep health is challenged during the transition to motherhood and rural mothers have less access to specialized perinatal and behavioral health care than their urban counterparts. In this sample, poor sleep was attributable to distress in addition to nocturnal infant and child sleep patterns which has implications for psychoeducation and promotion of sleep health in mothers. Assessment of the botanical origin of Saudi Arabian honey samples to identify pollen with chromatographic tools and packing and storage
This study uses HPLC to extract phenolic compounds, revealing dominant protocatechuic acid (4.71 mg g-1), and GC-MS to analyze organic compounds in honey pollen. Specifically, 2-dodecanone was detected with a retention time of 7.34 min. 125 VTE Risk Awareness in People with Lung Cancer in the UK: Results from a Patient-led National Survey
A high incidence of venous thromboembolism (VTE) is reported in people with lung cancer (PwLC). PwLC with certain gene mutations (alterations) (e.g. ALK positive) are at higher risk of VTE than people who don't have the gene mutation, VTE can negatively affect quality of life (QoL) and maybe misattributed to other causes by PwLC due to limited awareness.
