Clinical and Imaging Presentation of a  Patient with Beta-Propeller Protein-Associated Neurodegeneration, a Rare and Sporadic form of Neurodegeneration with Brain Iron Accumulation (NBIA)
We report a  33-year-old female with a rare subtype of NBIA, called beta-propeller protein-associated neurodegeneration (BPAN) with a hitherto unknown missense variant inWDR45. She presented with BPAN ’s particular biphasic course of neurological symptoms and with a dominant iron accumulation in the midbrain that enclosed a spotty T2-hyperintensity. Uncommon Cranial Meningioma: Key Imaging Features on Conventional and Advanced Imaging
AbstractGiven the high incidence of intracranial meningiomas encountered in clinical practice, it is not uncommon to find rare subtypes of meningioma, with unusual imaging findings. These commonly represent a  diagnostic challenge. In this article, we review the imaging appearance of typical meningioma on conventional and advanced imaging as well as the key imaging features of multiple uncommon subtypes: cystic, microcystic, lipomatous, chordoid, angiomatous, intraosseous, extracranial, atypical/malign ant, and tumor-to-tumor metastasis (also known as collision tumors). Some of these uncommon subtypes, however, demonstra...

Growth of Untreated Unruptured Small-sized Aneurysms ( ≺7mm): Incidence and Related Factors
ConclusionMost (83.8%) untreated unruptured small-sized aneurysms (<7  mm) remained stable and devoid of growth in long-term follow-up. Because bifurcation aneurysms were prone to eventual growth, careful long-term monitoring at regular intervals is advised if left untreated. (Source: Klinische Neuroradiologie)
