Reliability and validity of a semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire: dietary intake assessment among multi-ethnic populations in Northwest China
CONCLUSIONS: The FFQ showed acceptable reproducibility and moderate relative validity for evaluating dietary intake among multi-ethnic groups in northwest China. Associations between body composition and cardiovascular disease risk in pre- and postmenopausal women
CONCLUSIONS: Both SBP and DBP are associated with FM and SMM in different ways among PrMW. This association, however, was not seen among PMW. Dietary patterns and their socioeconomic factors of adherence among adults in urban Burkina Faso: a cross-sectional study
CONCLUSIONS: This study population is at an early stage of the nutrition transition and shows low intakes of health-beneficial food groups. Yet, progress along the nutrition transition varies according to age, educational attainment, and economic status. Particularly, younger and well-off people seem to adhere more strongly to diets high in animal-based products.
