Gut microbiota shifts favorably with delivery of handwashing with soap and water treatment intervention in a prospective cohort (CHoBI7 trial)
CONCLUSION: The observed exclusion of pathogenic Proteobacteria and enhancement of beneficial Firmicutes in the gut of children delivered with chlorinated water as part of WASH intervention reflect a great promise of the CHoBI7 program in preventing cholera and improving child health.PMID:38129922 | PMC:PMC10740293 | DOI:10.1186/s41043-023-00477-0 (Source: Journal of Health, Population, and Nutrition)

Comparison of the efficacy and safety of Shanhuang Jiangzhi tablets and atorvastatin in the treatment of patients with hyperlipidaemia
CONCLUSIONS: Shanhuang Jiangzhi tablets have a higher hypotriglyceridaemic performance than atorvastatin and an equivalent ability to lower TC and LDL-C. In addition, Shanhuang Jiangzhi tablets are a low-risk option for lowering blood lipids.PMID:38098069 | PMC:PMC10722779 | DOI:10.1186/s41043-023-00482-3 (Source: Journal of Health, Population, and Nutrition)
