Comparative Efficacy and Tolerability of Antipsychotics for Juvenile Psychotic Disorders: A Systematic Review and Network Meta-Analysis
Conclusions Some antipsychotics were effective and tolerated short term, but longer-term evidence was very limited. The overall paucity of trials and of adequate controls indicates that more well-designed randomized controlled trials are required for adequate assessment of antipsychotic drug treatment for juveniles. Calcium Channel Antagonists for Mood Disorders

Structured Interventions to Optimize Polypharmacy in Psychiatric Treatment and Nursing Homes: A Systematic Review
Conclusions Improvement of drug-related outcomes can be achieved by interventions such as individualized medication review and educational approaches in psychiatric settings and nursing homes. Changes in clinical outcomes, however, are often nonsubstantial and generally underreported. Patient selection and intervention procedures are highly heterogeneous. Future investigations should establish standards in intervention procedures, identify and assess patient-relevant outcome measures, and consider long-term follow-up assessments. Clozapine Once-Daily Versus Divided Dosing Regimen: A Cross-sectional Study in Japan
Conclusions Our findings tentatively support the feasibility and clinical utility of once-daily dosing of clozapine in clinical practice. Clinical Phenotype of Tardive Dyskinesia in Bipolar Disorder
Conclusions This study confirms previously identified TD risk factors, such as age, sex, and bipolar subtype in a large BD cohort. Limitations included a cross-sectional design and the lack of tardive illness severity assessment. As atypical antipsychotics continue to be primary mood stabilization treatment, attempting to harmonize large data sets to identify additional biomarkers of tardive risk will optimize individualized care for patients with BD. Use of Staging Models for Treatment-Resistant Depression Is Not Helpful in Predicting Nonresponse to Acute Intravenous Ketamine Treatment

A Within-Subject Before-After Study of the Impact of Antidepressants on Hemoglobin A1c and Low-Density Lipoprotein Levels in Type 2 Diabetes
Conclusions Antidepressant treatment in type 2 diabetes may have a beneficial effect on glycemic control, as the decrease in HbA1c after discontinuation of antidepressants likely reflects remission of depression.
