Perceived discrimination, model minority stereotyping, and anxiety symptoms in chinese-heritage college students.
Conclusions: Our results replicate findings on the discrimination–anxiety link in Chinese-heritage college students, and show that model minority stereotyping is correlated with greater anxiety symptoms. Findings suggest that individuals with heightened RSA reactivity may be especially vulnerable to the adverse effect of discrimination. These findings have implications for mental health services for Chinese-heritage U.S. college students. “We are just magic”: A qualitative examination of self-love among Black same-gender loving men.
Conclusions: Current findings may have clinical implications. Using narrative therapy approach, facilitating connectedness to the BSGLM community, and implementing gratitude interventions in therapeutic settings may enhance self-love and positive self-regard among BSGLM. Investigating the relation between ethnic–racial identity and classroom engagement among Cherokee adolescents: Cultural socialization as a moderator.
Conclusions: The present study demonstrates an important association between ethnic–racial identity and classroom engagement for Cherokee youth. Furthermore, findings highlight the importance of parental cultural socialization as a potential malleable factor that can enhance or diminish the relation between ethnic–racial identity and classroom engagement for Cherokee adolescents. Psychological toll of hate speech: The role of acculturation stress in the effects of exposure to ethnic slurs on mental health among Ukrainian immigrants in Poland.

Children’s cross-cultural categorizations of racially ambiguous faces in Taiwan and the U.S.
Conclusions: Results suggest that hyperdescent over hypodescent for more commonly studied biracial Black/White faces generalizes in both cultural contexts.
