Thoughts on CHIP Fellowship!
Hi, I was recently exposed to a CHIP fellowship program at one of the largest hospital in the northeast which got me excited. Can anyone share more thoughts on it, difference between a general IC and CHIP in terms of the complexity, lifestyle, opportunities and pay. I'm trying to get more insight on the pros & cons and if it's worth pursuing that route (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Pritzker vs Hopkins
Just got the call from Hopkins and have a few days to decide! Currently planned to enroll at UChicago. My goals: I want to match into a top internal medicine program and also have a fun, meaningful experience in medical school Pritzker: (++) Loved Revisit and the warm/friendly vibes of the school. When I was on campus in April, I had a feeling in my gut and in my heart that I’d find a home here. (++) Love Chicago as a city, can imagine exploring different neighborhoods and swimming in... I've realized over the years that I read an inordinate amount of EKGs throughout my shifts. Alot of these are ordered out in triage and unecessary in my opinion but we still have to read them. I wondered if with all of these reads this makes us more competent than any other specialty in reading EKGs. I would assume a cardiologist doesn't order an EKG on every single patient in the clinic. Obviously it's difficult to make a statement that just because we read more we are therefore better... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)
