New Study Shows That Green Tea Boosts Working Memory
If green tea were a celebrity, it would already sit near the tippy top of the A-list. Its active ingredients have been linked to an array of health benefits, including weight loss, decreasing anxiety, and stopping the growth of cancer cells. Hysterectomy, it ’ s not all bad .. honest! – Sarah ’ s Story
I was told I needed a hysterectomy 2 years ago but I felt scared and concerned about how I would cope being a single mum – also how it would affect me as a woman, so instead I opted, against my consultants wishes for an ablation.  As he predicted, things did not improve and after much procrastination on my part, I was booked in for a vaginal hysterectomy and repair on the Tuesday 18th of March. My time leading up to the op was spent trying to organise my work load (I am self employed, single mum), stock the freezer and try to be as organised as possible for my recovery.  I read endless posts and stories and therefo...

(University of Basel) Green tea is said to have many putative positive effects on health. Now, researchers at the University of Basel are reporting first evidence that green tea extract enhances the cognitive functions, in particular the working memory. The Swiss findings suggest promising clinical implications for the treatment of cognitive impairments in psychiatric disorders such as dementia. Making gluten-free crackers with hemp flour and decaffeinated green tea leaves
A team of food scientists from University of Novi Sad in Serbia and Guelph Food Research Centre in Canada found that hemp flour, a by-product of cold-pressed hemp oil, in combination with decaffeinated green tea leaves could be used to develop a gluten-free snack cracker with functional properties. The study is in the current issue of Journal of Food Science published by the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT).The market for gluten-free foods with functional properties is growing immensely across virtually all food categories on a global level.
