I hate you, muggles.
Yep. 3:30 AM. Chief Complaint: "I think my girl gotta UTI." Sure, simple enough. I walk into the room, interrupting intimacy. "Hi. I'm Dr. RustedFox. I can wait until you're done if you'd like." Nawww, doc. It burn when she pee. "Sure. Can you get out of the hospital bed and we can conduct a proper [ffuucking] history and physical exam?" Nawww.... it dun matter (she said, not stopping from kissing him and reaching into the front of his pants). It didn't matter to me. UA/UCG. UTI... I hate you, muggles. How is the VA as an employer for family medicine?
Asking for my wife. Anyone here working for the VA? What's compensation like usually for the VA? Benefits I'm assuming will be above average, agreed? What's the average patient load per day, and the average work week like, is it mostly 4.5 clinic days basically? I'm sure the girls will vary based on location, but just getting a general idea of job satisfaction of VA vs community. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Autism and gender dysphoria
I recently tested a teenage girl who has accumulated the following diagnoses in 5+ years: ADHD, ASD, OCD, Bipolar, MDD, GAD, and Gender Dysphoria. Has anyone ever worked with a someone with ASPERGERS (I know it isn't technically a diagnosis anymore but I feel it better captures her presentation) and Gender Dysphoria? I am certain she is on the spectrum, but I can't really discern if she thinks she is meant to be a boy because she feels different than everyone else, or if it's true gender... My wife and I are expecting a baby girl later this fall and I'd like to know how to balance being successful on my 3rd and 4th yr rotations and giving my wife and newborn quality time, as well as any other advice you might be willing to share. UCLA vs Tulane for pre-med
Hi there - I have been admitted to UCLA and Tulane and I really love both of them! I would definitely be happy in either place, but I am leaning more towards UCLA. That said, I am slightly worried about the differences in pre-med advising, grading, availability for research and clinical opportunities. sooo cut to the chase yes it's what it sounds like, me and my girl were getting pretty hot and frisky and I asked her to strangle me - first of all I did NOT know it would leave these marks on my neck, and second I did not tell her to give me hickies anyway, the professor has already seen me - I am in his class and it's very probable that he noticed (some people in the class already commented on it). so should I just act casual and ask for the letter?
