Tanning beds and sunbathing may be associated with an increased risk of endometriosis

Endometriosis in the UK: time for change
An inquiry by the APPG on Endometriosis has highlighted the devastating impact endometriosis can have on all aspects of a person ' s life. The inquiry surveyed more than 10,000 people with endometriosis, and interviewed health care practitioners and those with the condition about their experiences. Among the findings was that average diagnosis times for endometriosis have not improved in more than a decade and it still takes eight years on average to get a diagnosis.
