Mentioning Recent Illness and Surgery in Medical School Interview
I applied this cycle and I have interviews coming up in January and February. This past semester, my endometriosis got really bad to the point that I was in pain most of the time. As a result of that, I have not kept up on all of the activities. I had surgery a few months ago and now I'm trying to get back into everything. If this comes up in an interview, should I talk about the endometriosis and surgery? Or is it too personal? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

When is the best time for us to have children?
I'm 22 and my boyfriend is 26, we've been together for five years and are starting to plan when we want to get married/have kids/etc. Neither of us are ready yet but we just want to get things figured out. We're in the US by the way, but this seemed like a good forum to ask my question. I'm a premed and he's a psychology major. I will be entering medical school in 2016 (I figured out late that I want to be a doctor and still have a lot of prereqs left) and he'll be entering graduate school in 2015 or 2016 (he took a few years off before going to college).
