Unani Therapy in Fourth-degree Uterovaginal Prolapse With Multiple Decubitus Ulcers: A Case Report
CONCLUSIONS: The current case study found that a fourth-grade UVP can be managed effectively with Unani medications. The participant's ulcers were healed, her clinical symptoms of UVP were reduced, and her quality of life improved. Clinical trials are recommended with large sample sizes to create a higher level of evidence for the efficacy of the Unani medicine.PMID:35839115 (Source: Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine)

Wound Healing Effects of < em > Dracontomelon dao < /em > on Bacterial Infection Wounds in Rats and Its Potential Mechanisms under Simulated Space Environment
This study was aimed to provide evidence of antimicrobial activity and anti-inflammatory and proangiogenesis activities of Dracontomelon dao (D. dao) on the skin of rats under simulated space environment. The weightlessness model of rats in space environment was established. Then, rats were given D. dao for 15 days. Wound healing effects of D. dao on histopathology and inflammatory cytokines in E. coli-induced wound infection in weightless rats were analyzed. Furthermore, the molecular biology technology was performed to evaluate the wound healing effects of D. dao on the relative protein level of NF-κB as well as PI3K/Ak...

Gallstone ileus treatment susccessfully by endoscopy
We present the case of a 73-year-old woman who was admitted to hospital with a 6-day history of complete constipation, abdominal pain and vomiting. An abdominal CT scan is performed that shows a large colonic dilatation. In the sigmoid colon identifying a 43x20mm gallstone impaction and a solution of continuity between the gallbladder and the hepatic flexure with pneumobilia associated. Because the obstruction is located at the sigmoid colon, it was decided to perform an urgent colonoscopy. During the endoscopy, the gallstone was observed, which was successfully extracted using a Roth Net. The surrounding mucosa showed sig...

120 The impact of socioeconomic status and comorbidities on emergency admissions in patients with multiple sclerosis
Conclusions The proportion of "most deprived" pwMS and the proportion of "most deprived" pwMS with emergency admissions varied widely across centres. MS- and deprivation-related comorbidities were observed in emergency admissions of pwMS, highlighting the importance of addressing these issues. Support Biogen. Posterior surgical approach for the treatment of lower cervical spine injury with spinal cord paralysis: high postoperative mortality in resource-scare setting
CONCLUSIONS: In hospital-based clinical condition with limited practice approach, our study indicated specific clinical and imaging characteristics of Vietnamese patients with lower cervical spine injury combined with spinal cord paralysis. With high postoperative mortality rate, commonly late complications after posterior cervical spine surgical approach were pain and difficulty in neck movement, muscle weakness and stiffness, and nerve root pain.PMID:35503640 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202204_28627 (Source: Pharmacological Reviews)
