CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE: Reports to FAERS for ARB-related SE are mostly related to olmesartan. There was a steep decline in reports of olmesartan-related SE following the lawsuit with potential of lawyer interference. Extraosseous odontogenic keratocyst in an unusual location
A 75-year-old male presented a complaint of discomfort in his cheek, with swelling for 2 months. His medical history included hypertension controlled with medication (amlodipine and Benicar). Upon intraoral examination, a palpable node was detected in the right buccal mucosa, measuring 1.5 cm, located between the fatty pad of the cheek and the pterygomandibular fold, which was fixed and painful. An incisional biopsy was performed, which yielded a histopathologic diagnosis of the nonspecific inflammatory process.
