Do I even have a chance this cycle ok DAT low GPA, I have already applied to some schools?!!
Hi everyone I am a rising Senior applying this cycle. i applied to a few schools already and want advise if I should be applying to more and if yes to what schools. My DAT scores taken July 10 (APP was submitted 25th July): 20 AA 21TS 21Bio 21 OChem 20 Chem 21 PAT 22 RC 16 QR My Gpa is honestly low, I went to a large school and didnt understand the ropes right away and suffered from intense asthma my first year and half: OGPA: 3.0 sGPA: 2.8 Strong upward trend Freshy: 2.0 Sophomore: 3.13... Is Pharmacy worth it?
Now, you probably get many posts like this but I would appreciate a detailed response on some of my concerns. I've been working as a medical scribe at a Pulmonologist's office since 2017. I became a scribe because I wasn't sure if medicine was for me. I graduated from a top 30 school with a cGPA of 2.65, prior to this job, I volunteered in patient care at a local hospital. My time as a scribe has exposed me to a lot of asthma pumps and biologics which is where my interest in pharmacy... Is Pharmacy worth it? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

As needed medication for Panic Attacks, besides Benzo's and Vistaril?
Hi, I have a patient who is only interested in a Benzo, however, due to his extensive history of substance use, I am trying to avoid anything addicting. He's already on an SSRI but I want something that will be helpful for when he is having the panic attacks. Vistaril was of no benefit in him. I mentioned taking Buspar regularly but he does not want to take anything on a regular basis. I even talked about low dose Propanolol (has asthma). I was wondering if there is anything else you guys... As needed medication for Panic Attacks, besides Benzo's and Vistaril? (Source: Student Doctor Network)
