Clinical value of [18F]FDG PET/MRI for staging and predicting metastasis in rectal cancer: early delayed and extended PET acquisition combined with dedicated pelvic MRI

Conclusions: [18F]FDG PET/MRI according to our suggested protocol is simple, safe, and accurate for rectal cancer staging and pmrEMVI can be used as an imaging biomarker for predicting metastases.
