Funding Opportunities: Addressing Structural Racism and Discrimination

We want to make you aware of two funding opportunities to investigate and address structural racism and discrimination in the biomedical research enterprise. This is a follow-up to our previous post about NIGMS’ support for UNITE, the trans-NIH initiative to address structural racism and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in biomedical research. Notice of Special Interest: Understanding and Addressing the Impact of Structural Racism and Discrimination on Biomedical Career Progression and the Biomedical Research Enterprise (NOT-GM-21-033) The goal of this notice is to study and/or address the impacts of structural racism and discrimination (SRD) on biomedical career progression and to develop evidence-informed actions for promoting inclusion and equity in the biomedical research enterprise.
