Opioid-Related Education Provided by Continuing Education Divisions at US Pharmacy Schools

Conclusion. The opioid epidemic creates an opportunity for pharmacists to increase their role in public health, but education and training are necessary. The study findings indicate that many pharmacists participate in opioid-related CPE provided by ACPE-accredited CEDs of pharmacy schools.
