Molecular capsular typing and multi locus sequence typing of invasive, non-invasive and commensal Streptococcus pneumoniae isolates from North India
Conclusion: MLST sequence analysis shows that invasive isolates were found to be clustered with non-invasive and commensal isolates. Analysis of MLST suggests the possibility of genetic relatedness and exchange of genetic material between invasive, non-invasive and commensal isolates.
