Effect of uric acid levels on mortality in Japanese peritoneal dialysis patients.

CONCLUSIONS: A U-shaped relationship appears to exist between UA levels and all-cause mortality among Japanese PD patients. Additionally, lower BMI significantly enhanced the effect of UA levels on mortality.
