Predictors and Outcomes of Ischemic Stroke After Cardiac Surgery.
CONCLUSIONS: Stroke is a devastating complication following cardiac surgery, which increases operative morbidity and mortality. Stroke with LVO was associated with worse survival. However, early intervention did not impart a survival benefit.
