Acute kidney injury associated with preeclampsia or hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelets syndrome

ConclusionHELLP syndrome, AKI and placental abruption or postpartum hemorrhage appear to be interrelated. AKI occurs more frequently in women with HELLP syndrome with or without associated postpartum hemorrhage and placental abruption.
