AbstractSpinal cord infarction (SCI) is a rare disease among central nervous system vascular diseases. Only a little is known about venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VA-ECMO)-related SCI. Conclusions Changes in several measures of shoulder pain and function occurred after the home exercise program intervention, although the magnitude of changes was only significantly greater than those of the education-only control condition group for two measures. Conclusions: Caregivers of persons with SCI develop cognitive coping strategies to make sense of the situation and establish a "new normal" and problem-focused coping strategies to deal with their new tasks and role. These strategies do not seem to be typical only of SCI caregivers. Hence, interventions that worked for caregivers in other fields could be adapted. Conclusion: The FES-cycling intervention may reduce the lower extremities spasticity in patients with various injury levels of SCI. It is not a suitable intervention for medically unstable patients or with contraindication for lower extremities movement. Conclusions: Neurofilament light protein may be more useful as a measure of ongoing neurodegenerative activity in EAE, which would make this protein a potential candidate for use as a surrogate marker for assessment of treatments aimed at reducing axonal injury.
