Outcome of Pericardiectomy for Constrictive Pericarditis in Japan: A Nationwide Outcome Study.
CONCLUSIONS: Pericardiectomy is associated with high morbidity and mortality rates. Careful consideration should be given to these risk factors in the process of patient selection and perioperative management.
