This study aimed to offer a reference for the rational indications of AT.Methods: We retrospectively included 1216 stage IB GC who experienced curative surgery from the SEER database between 2004 and 2015. These patients were allocated into two groups: Group AT and Group surgery alone (Group SA). We established a nomogram to predict OS and then divided whole cohort into low-risk and high-risk groups based on the OS predicted by the nomogram. Results: Six variables, which were significantly related with OS of entire patients after matched, were incorporated in the nomogram. These variables were age, examined lymph nodes, tum...

Their structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic analysis and the results of hydrolytic cleavage. The isolated compounds exhibited cytotoxic activities against HL-60 and A549 cells with IC50 values ranging from 0.019 to 3.0 μM. The isolated compounds also showed the Na+/K+ ATPase inhibitory ac...

Vattimo-Gil (Lauraceae) is a native and vulnerable Brazilian species restricted to the Atlantic Forest. The leaf essential oil obtained by hydrodistillation was characterized for the first time by two-dimensional gas chromatography with time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GC×GC-TOFMS). This analysis resulted in the tentat...

ki Fukuda Kagawa Michitaka Kumada Maeda Predictive biomarkers of the response of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) to Lenvatinib therapy have not yet been clarified. The aim of this study was to identify clinically significant biomarkers of response to Lenvatinib therapy, to target strategies against HCC. Levels of circulating angiogenic factors (CAFs) were analyzed in blood samples collected at baseline and after introducing lenvatinib, from 74 Child-Pugh class A HCC patients who received lenvatinib. As CAF biomarkers, serum vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), fibroblast growth factor 19 (FGF19), F...

Use of MRI helps differentiate between those with good prognosis, which can be offered upfront surgery and the poor prognostic cases where treatment intensification is needed. MRI identified poor prognostic factors are threatened or involved mesorectal fascia, T3 tumors with> 5mm e...

The prognostic value of COL genes has been shown for several malignancies. In the present study, we analyzed multiple microarray datasets using the Oncomine database to identify alterations of COL genes in gastric cancer (GC). Gene express...
