Pancreatic cancer thromboembolic outcomes: rate of thrombosis after adenocarcinoma and non-adenocarcinoma pancreatic cancer surgery.
CONCLUSIONS: The rate of VTE in NACPC after surgery was high and not different than ACPC. Histology type shall not govern discrimination in thromboprophylaxis selection or extension.
