World Cancer Day

World Cancer Day is an international day marked on February 4 to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. 2019 marks the launch of the 3-year ‘I Am and I Will’ campaign; an empowering call-to-action urging for personal commitment and represents the power of individual action taken now to impact the future.Cochrane Cancer supports and coordinates the work acrossmultiple Cochrane Review Groups dealing with the topic of Cancer. These  Cochrane Review Groups provide reliable evidence required to make important decisions on issues concerning cancer and related topics. Cochrane Review Groups facilitate the identification of reports of clinical trials and carry out systematic reviews of av ailable evidence. These are published on the Cochrane Library, and updated periodically as new evidence is identified.
